Just to be clear, I do often use “dude” as a “gender-neutral” term, especially when I’m excited, but if that ever makes you uncomfortable or you feel I’m not respecting your gender, you can tell me to stop because me getting to use a certain word is not even close to being as important as you being comfortable around me, okay?
This is a good attitude to have about the word “dude”
these fucking things
Fun fact there things were recalled for causing “eye injuries, including scratched corneas and incidents of temporary blindness, broken teeth, a mild concussion, a broken rib, and facial lacerations that required stitches.”
these things were the fucking best
Cookie Monster asks the important questions. (x)
i dont know what’s funnier, the fact this is a thing that happened or that sesame street as a vine account
"I was young. It was just the kind of shit that actresses have to go through. Somebody told me I was fat, that I was going to get fired if I didn’t lose a certain amount of weight. They brought in pictures of me where I was basically naked, and told me to use them as motivation for my diet. It was just that. [Someone brought it up recently] They thought that because of the way my career had gone, it wouldn’t still hurt me. That somehow, after I won an Oscar, I’m above it all. ‘You really still care about that?’ Yeah. I was a little girl. I was hurt. It doesn’t matter what accolades you get. I know it’ll never happen to me again. If anybody even tries to whisper the word ‘diet’, I’m like, ‘You can go fuck yourself.”
I hate comparing myself to Katniss because she’s dealing with life and death, and I’m just dealing with the fashion police.
A Wall That Plays Music When It Rains
According to Atlas Obscura, “when the rain starts to fall, this colorful drain and gutter system attached to the outside of a building in the Neustadt Kunsthofpassage turn into charming musical instruments. The Funnel Wall is one of the strangest and most enjoyable attractions in Dresden’s student district in the new town. ” (Image credits: ingeniumetars)
